A sneak peak to my Journey towards Life

To start of, I’d like to introduce my self. My name is Franc (Zekk) Johnric Bartolome, my friends usually call me Zekk. I’m 17 years of age, my hobbies are dancing and playing basketball. I’m a dancer and also act in a little entertainment copy named Zebel Entertainment.

As a kid I was an energetic and active child. Raised in a small village, grew up in a simple but also dramatic family. At a young age I was already awakened on how hard, mean life can be. Starting of with my family.

Happy family and a peaceful home, is not what I have. I have never felt my family complete not even once. The images that you see is the only family picture we have. And my brother is already gone. It’s tough living with a family like this. Thanks to Pa,

This guy, my father. Despite all of the things to our family, is still able to keep a positive view in life. He showed me how to be contented for what you have, and to always stay positive even when you’re down. To always look for a silver lining in every situation.

So I looked for a silver lining after my brother was killed. I put on my mind that, even tho my brother died brutally and without justice. Maybe it’s a part of God’s plan, maybe his time here is over, maybe he had fulfilled his mission given to him by God. It’s tough and painful, but life goes on.
Thankfully there’s a school, where I got friends who’s always there when I need em.

This guys are a big factor why I’m strong and is able to keep going. They help me when I need help. Give me advice and shows me how to have fun in the simplest way. They are also one of the reasons why I join school activities such as…

Dancing and pageants in our school. Because I know I have some friends and people who support me, plus I also love and enjoy joining this kind of activities. As it just not showcase what I have and talents, but also you’ll get the chance to experience new things and interact with other people. Also I became more socialized more, as I was able to meet lot of other people and present/perform in front of many people.

But despite all the good things that happen, problems, breakdowns, and all kind of sad things that can ruin your mood and make feel nobody will always come to you. And there was a time, when I was at my worst state. Where all my problems and overthinking came to me in an instant. Family, financial problems etc. I met someone who understood me, accept me at my worst state. She gave me strength and will again to go on, and brought me back to the battle field which I was about to yield.

This woman right here, Collene Mendoza. Made me change my self for the better. She’s the one who is aiding me with the battle I face, and I’m also there when she needs alliance. We are helping each other grow.

I’m so thankful for meeting this woman, for she made me feel what I thought I would never feel. She keeps me sane at all times, always there for me. Making my battle easier knowing she’s there, that’s why I’ll never give up easily. For me, her and for my family.

And now, I’m still continuing my journey towards life with her. With a big dream and future a head of me. I’ll keep going because of her, my family and for myself.

That’s a sneak peak to my journey towards life.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
